Entwicklung von Antikörpern und von Antikörpern abgeleiteten Proteinen für die Prävention und Behandlung von Infektionskrankheiten mit epidemischem Potenzial

Diese Aufforderung zur Einreichung von Vorschlägen unterstützt die Entwicklung innovativer antikörperbasierter Therapeutika und präventiver Maßnahmen, wie monoklonale Antikörper oder von Antikörpern abgeleitete Proteine, die auf Infektionskrankheiten abzielen, die aufgrund ihres epidemischen Potenzials eine ernsthafte Bedrohung darstellen. Ziel ist es, die Entwicklung, Herstellung und Erprobung solcher Biologika zu beschleunigen und damit die Fähigkeit Europas zu verbessern, auf künftige Ausbrüche zu reagieren. Dazu gehört die Erforschung neuer Plattformen, skalierbarer Produktionssysteme und Verabreichungstechnologien. Die Aktion fördert die Zusammenarbeit bei der Bewältigung wissenschaftlicher, technischer und regulatorischer Herausforderungen im Zusammenhang mit diesen Therapien, von der Entdeckung über die präklinische und klinische Entwicklung.

Expected Outcome

  • Beschleunigung der Entwicklungspipeline für antikörperbasierte Lösungen gegen hochgefährliche Infektionskrankheiten.

  • Stärkung der Kapazitäten in Europa, um schnell therapeutische oder präventive Maßnahmen bei Ausbrüchen von Epidemien zu ergreifen.

  • Verfügbarkeit wirksamer und sicherer antikörperbasierter Interventionen, die durch solide wissenschaftliche und klinische Nachweise validiert sind.

  • Verbesserte Produktionsinfrastruktur zur Unterstützung einer schnellen Reaktion bei gesundheitlichen Notfällen.

Scope

  • Förderung der Forschung an neuen und verbesserten Produkten auf Antikörperbasis (monoklonale, bispezifische, multispezifische, Antikörperfragmente, Fusionsproteine usw.).

  • Entwickeln Sie Produktionsplattformen, die Skalierbarkeit und Anpassungsfähigkeit an verschiedene Krankheitserreger gewährleisten.

  • Bewältigen Sie die Herausforderungen bei den Verabreichungsmechanismen, der Dosierung und der Stabilität von Medikamenten auf Antikörperbasis.

  • Führen Sie präklinische Studien durch, einschließlich Pharmakokinetik, Toxizität und Immunreaktionen.

  • Engagieren Sie sich bei den Regulierungsbehörden, um eine frühzeitige Abstimmung für beschleunigte Zulassungswege sicherzustellen.
